Salvation Army Angel Tree Program helps provide Christmas gifts for children

The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program provides new clothing or toys for children (age 12 & under) of needy families through the support of donors.  The Salvation Army of Lake Charles is currently handing out appointment letters for the 2015 Angel Tree Program.  Appointments are available for residents of Calcasieu, Jeff Davis, Cameron, Beauregard, and Allen Parishes.  If you are interested, you may pick up an appointment letter at the Salvation Army’s office, located at 3020 Legion St. in Lake Charles.  You can also call 337-721-8068 for information regarding the 2015 Angel Tree registration.

Interested in supporting?

If your organization, church, business, or club would like to sponsor an Angel Tree, please contact Lieutenant Donna Watts at 337-721-8068.  Found in local companies and corporations, Angel Trees are decorated with numbered angel tags containing the first name, age, and gender of a child in need of presents.  Contributors remove one or more tags from the tree and purchase appropriate gifts for the child or children described on the ages.
